Albedo is the planet-friendly alternative to standard insulation materials that can help the EU to achieve GHG targets while reducing the whole carbon emission life cycle in buildings. Albedo, unlike other bio-based insulation materials, uses an untapped resource: the solid waste of the citrus juice industry and that from the pressed juice machines at food outlets. Being widely available local industrial production is possible, reducing even more carbon emissions and boosting local economies with green jobs.
