Eligibility & Selection Criteria
-
Ready to demonstrate: you should already have a PoC/Alpha/Beta/prototype
-
Solution is scalable
-
High potential to make an impact on climate issues or significant climate adaptation
-
Your company must be incorporated (or in the legal process of incorporation) before entering the program
-
A dedicated team of at least 2 people
-
Company is based in the European Union
Application & Selection Process

Complete the online application form:

Application phase begins: April 13, 2021
-
Application phase ends: May 16, 2021, 23:59 CET

Applications must be made using the online application form, which will be available on the website www.cleancities.network once the application phase begins.

Short-listed candidates will pitch their project to a jury: 5 min. pitch (minimum) and 5 min. Q&A
-
The jury is expected to convene between June 16-18, 2021.

Successful candidates will be notified of their acceptance into the program starting on June 21, 2021.
Evaluation Criteria

The start-ups awarded with the highest score by the jury will be accepted into the program.

How to Apply
Your path to the Clean Cities ClimAccelerator starts with the online application. Convince our experts, and you will be invited to an (online) pitch day. There, you will present your business and answer questions from a jury made up of researchers, investors, and other experts.
The application phase is open until May 16, 2021. The selected start-ups will be announced starting June 21, 2021.
