Wien Energie is the largest regional energy provider in Austria and a subsidiary of the municipal utility company Wiener Stadtwerke. We reliably supply two million people with environmentally friendly power, cooling, heating, electromobility and telecommunications. In order to promote climate protection, we will be investing heavily in expanding the use of renewables such as solar, wind and hydro power as well as electromobility. Wiener Wohnen is a company of the City of Vienna and acts as property manager for 1,800 municipal housing estates, the Viennese municipal buildings. The mission of the enterprise, which is governed by a statute adopted by the municipal council, is the construction, management, administration and refurbishment of municipal flats and housing estates. Wiener Wohnen manages 13 million m2 of rented residential floor space and 600 ha of green areas. With around 500,000 residents, the population of Graz, Salzburg and Innsbruck combined, lives in Vienna’s municipal housing. This means, that many people with  all their different needs, habits and lifestyles are neighbours. These tenants are the focus of the work of the Wiener Wohnen group. Meeting them in a service-oriented and professional manner is the task of 4,000 employees.

Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (aws) is the promotional bank of the Austrian federal government. It supports companies in implementing their innovative projects by offering soft loans, grants and guarantees, particularly in cases where the funds required cannot be obtained sufficiently through alternative funding. Specific information, coaching and services are also offered to prospective, existing and expanding companies. The support provided through the aws can help you to set up an enterprise more easily, access soft loans from EUR 10,000, access finance by providing guarantees, develop and implement innovations, check strategies thoroughly.


Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (aws) is the promotional bank of the Austrian federal government and is 100% owned by the Republic of Austria. The Austrian Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs (BMDW) and the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) act as its owner representatives. The aws renders its services as part of its public mandate. Its clients include its owner representatives, the BMDW and BMK, as well as other Austrian federal ministries, states, public authorities and interest groups.

Wiener Linien is Vienna’s public transport operator and is responsible for some 180 underground, tram and bus lines. Our underground network extends to 83 kilometers, our tram network comprises around 220 kilometers, which makes it the sixth-largest in the world, and our bus lines travel a network of 850 kilometers. Wiener Linien is committed to providing the best possible service, and to thereby steadily increasing the public transport share of city traffic.


Wiener Lokalbahnen operates the Badner Bahn, runs bus lines in Baden and Vienna as well as passenger trains using third-party infrastructure across the whole of Austria. Through its subsidiary WLC, the company provides rail-bound cargo transportation services across Europe and takes people with limited mobility to their destination in barrier-free minibuses with Wiener Lokalbahnen Verkehrsdienste. This wide range of services is what characterizes the Wiener Lokalbahnen Group. Many years of experience and high standards of quality make the company a competent partner in the area of mobility. It is just as important to ensure the transportation of passengers in the area to the south of Vienna as it is to offer sustainable, flexible solutions for the transportation of goods.


Distrito Castellana Norte is the urban regeneration company spearheading Madrid Nuevo Norte, the capital´s large renovation project. As the main private developer of this project, led by the Madrid City Council, we aim to leave a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable city model to future generations. This public-private partnership project is built on a broad institutional, political and social consensus. Following its final approval in 2020, it is now in the execution phase. This people-centred urban design model focuses on the complete renovation of Chamartín station and integration of railway land into the city, with a notable role in public transport and green areas and technology serving citizens. The project spreads across 2,357,443 m2 of land, with 1,048,535 m2 as residential buildable area and 1,608,778 m2 as commercial area and includes mixed uses to promote urban activity. This project has a unique potential and will create up to 350,000 jobs. It will add 10,500 homes (20% affordable) and a cutting-edge CBD that will become a new iconic international landmark for Madrid.
